Handled mooring ropes, wires, and heaving lines during berthing and unberthing operations. Performed cargo handling support. Assisted in cleaning and preparing cargo holds before loading operations. Monitored cargo operations from deck level. Kept lookout duty on the bridge during navigation under the supervision of the Officers. Maintained gangway watch in port, monitoring access. Participated in regular emergency drills: fire, man overboard, abandon ship, etc. Familiarized with emergency escape routes and duties as per the muster list.

Operated a bobcat loader during loading and unloading operations. Kept navigational watches. Maintained the deck equipment in clean and operational condition. Carried out cleaning, greasing, and basic maintenance of deck machinery, winches, and fittings. Assisted in mooring and unmooring operations using mooring lines, bollards, and winches. Prepared the deck and equipment for lifting, loading, and unloading operations. Handled slings, shackles, turnbuckles, and rigging gear during cargo operations. Visually monitored cargo movements and communicated with the crane. Cooperated with crane operations team. Assisted in setting up and securing crane equipment during worksite preparations. Helped with proper stowage and securing of cargo on deck according to load plans. Followed instructions from the crane operator. Took part in the inspection and upkeep of lifting gear and cargo handling devices. Assisted technical personnel during equipment checks and vessel preparation procedures.
