Career Objective

I am looking for a long term position as captain on a yacht over 35 meters Med based. I am a passionate and experienced Captain with 23+ years of broad experience onboard private and charter programs seeking a sole or rotational position. I am adaptable, analytical, and always seeking opportunities to enhance my performance in the workplace. I am confident these attributes will add value to my next position. As a leader, I enjoy the opportunity to mentor and develop crew, promoting a positive onboard culture, transparent communications, and a team-centered approach. Furthermore, I’ve developed a reputation for coming up with good solutions and finding new efficiencies for tasks and operational standards. I have always made the effort to learn about the responsibilities and challenges in all departments to provide additional support when needed. I am confident handling all aspects of guest concierge programs - providing prompt, proactive service and ensuring each detail from travel arrangements to business communications and special events are executed seamlessly. Earning repeat clients and providing memorable, five-star onboard experiences are things I continuously strive for. During my time in the industry, I have been a part of many projects and helped with extensive vessel refits, including full interior/exterior overhaul onboard M/Y Bayan. My background includes managing conversions from Private to Commercial, handling implementation of onboard operating standards and procedures and full ISM onboard M/Y Always Believe. I have overseen numerous vessel surveys as well as seal trials for yacht purchases and have strong experience sourcing, managing, and serving as liaison with outside contractors and vendors. My organizational skills and ability to manage budgets and timelines, ensuring all parties are on track and that deadlines are met, are things I take great pride in. You can count on me to furnish consistent, detailed reports and budgets, always providing open dialogue and clear communications on project status and vessel/program needs.
