During my time at the Royal Cape Yacht Club. I gained extensive experience working under pressure, operating with limited staff, and leading a team. My work as a hull cleaner, further strengthened my capabilities as a deckhand and allows me to add real value to any crew. I am outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, and appreciate the opportunity to experience different cultures. I adapt quickly to new environments, learn fast and work well with my hands. I want to be in yachting to give my career a jump start. I have a passion for Scuba diving and the underwater world. My goal is to become a class 2 commercial diver and apply my skills in underwater.

Deckhand / Diver
Im my time working with TBYS, I was responsible for the valet, maintenance and hull cleanliness for 27 different sailing vessels. We also specialized in hull maintenance, sanding down old anti-fouling, filling and fairing and re-painting. I was project manager through out most of these projects.
