I have 8 years in the Yachting industry, 20 years electrical trade experience, 4 years on board South African Navy Submarine Charlotte Maxeke as helmsman and electrician and learned a lot in terms of seamanship while serving on board the Navy sail racing vessel. Good team dynamics, team adhesion and overall smooth running of a vessel in maintenance and social aspects are the things I find most important to me. With my proven longevity I am aiming to acquire a SV second engineer unlimeted as I have completed my task book and hours. I would like to be a chief or sole engineer or second on something larger.
