Served as First Mate aboard SY Delusha, a 43m private sailing yacht with six crew and the owner’s family living aboard for over five months. Responsible for all deck operations, navigation, and guest activities. Conducted day and night bridge watches, passage planning, and assisted the Captain with navigational duties and safe vessel operation. Oversaw and maintained all water toys (Seabobs, Fliteboards, JetBoard, sailing dinghy, bikes, diving gear), performed mast inspections, washdowns, and minor deck repairs. Managed anchoring, mooring, and berth manoeuvres, coordinating lines, fenders, and deck crew communication. Operated the main tender (Castoldi Jet 21) and supervised crane operations. Ensured the vessel’s presentation, safety, and performance were maintained to the highest standard throughout an intensive Mediterranean season.

Crew member on sailing yacht delivery from Cape Verde to Cádiz with a short stop in Madeira. Over 2,000 nm sailed upwind under sail only. Three-person crew on 3h watch / 6h rest rotation, responsible for navigation, sail handling, and deck maintenance. Successful Atlantic passage completed safely and on schedule.

Served as Deckhand / Mate / Reserve Skipper aboard SY Barinia, a 23m private sailing yacht cruising the Central and Eastern Mediterranean. Assisted the Captain in navigation, passage planning, and daily vessel operations. Responsible for deck maintenance, sail handling, and general upkeep, ensuring the yacht’s immaculate presentation at all times. Acted as relief skipper when required. Supported guest activities and maintained excellent owner and guest relations in a relaxed, family-style environment.
