Chief Engineer
CurrentMonitor, operate and test yacht machinery, including automatic controls and alarm systems. Maintain and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, including engines and generators. Refit and upgrade of machinery, equipment and systems. Arrange, manage and supervise yacht repairs by contractors including Dry Dock repairs in order to ensure equipment is fixed properly and in a timely manner. Implement new maintenance tasks in the planned maintenance system based on experience in operation of equipment as well as condition and performance. Supervise 2nd engineer. Collaborate with staff members in order to resolve issues and develop new procedures for improvement.
