About

Growing up in Australia and coming from a large Greek family of five kids, I've always watched my mum and dad work immensely hard to provide for us kids and due to this, I strive to have the same work ethic as them both. After having completed my first summer season in the Mediterranean and winter period in a shipyard on a private M/Y, I am ready to combine all the skills I have learned and join another busy, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Career Objective

I hope to have a long and successful career in the yachting industry. After working with children for up to 6 years and then working in an admin position, it was finally time to put myself first and give my dream a go. I hope that in the next few years, I grow and gain so much experience to hopefully reach the role of Chief Stewardess.

Stewardess

May 2024 - Jan 2025
M/Y Lady Beatrice

While on M/Y Lady Beatrice, I was hired as the third stewardess in an interior team of five. Rotating through service, laundry, and housekeeping during our late Mediterranean season from July until November. Throughout this time, I became proficient in all aspects in laundry, performed turn-ups and turn-downs to the highest standards, and provided exceptional service for up to nine guests. During service, I made coffee, cocktails, and juices while completing breakfast service solo during the season. In the last few months on board, while Lady Beatrice was going through a refit, I gained knowledge of inventorying uniforms, crockery, and bed linens.

Assisted in executing day charters around Sydney Harbour, providing bartending, preparing platters, and managing guest experiences during events. During my time as a service stewardess on M/Y Belle, I assisted in the successful execution of several day charters around the Sydney Harbour. I was trusted in providing a variety of services such as bartending, preparing platters, conducting cabin checks, nannying, and managing inebriated guests. Additionally, I contributed to the smooth running of a Forbes Event, where 35 guests from Forbes Australia's Top 40 List were transported around Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Responsibilities included supporting the deckhand with boat preparations, delivering champagne service, and ensuring the vessel was cleaned and cleared after guest departure.
