2nd Engineer
CurrentResponsible for the operation of high complexity activities related to the engine room. Perform maintenance on the auxiliary systems of the engine room, such as sewage treatment plant, water production plant, valves, pumps and ballast networks, drinking water and sea water, to supply the fire system, diesel and lubricating oil purifiers, air compressors, main engines and vessel propulsion, refrigeration system and boilers.
3rd Engineer
Responsible for the Engine Room and distribution of energy on the vessel, in accordance with the operational and safety procedures of the Company; Fueling, transferring fuel and water in different ballasts/tanks; Maintenance on equipment in the engine room when agreed with the Chief Engineer.

Engine Room Watchkeeping Officer, responsible for the conduction and maintenance of lub oil, chemicals, fuel soundings, air compressors, lub and fuel oil purifiers, thermal oil heater, emergency fire pump, fresh water generator, sewage treatment plant.
