I am a bubbly and energetic person who has clean and healthy habits. I enjoy a balanced lifestyle and enjoy good food, a good exercise routine and love being in nature. I enjoy reading, podcasts, hiking, running, horse riding and going to the gym. I'm a qualified yoga teacher and also open water certified as I love scuba diving. I'm hard working, loyal, trustworthy and a very good communicator. I enjoy working in the service industry and getting to meet new people and explore new destinations. Even though my background has been in Accounting and Financial Management, I think joining the yachting industry and working on a cruise ship has definitely brought a whole new sense of joy and adventure to my life. I'm mature, goal orientated and want to build on a property portfolio for when I go home one day. I'm a big team player who enjoy crew dynamics where everyone helps out and where no task is too big or too small. I love seeing other people do well and thrive in the industry and also get a lot of joy from training crew and seeing how well they do under my leadership. I'm compassionate and very caring in general and believe that I carry those qualities with me while working. I believe that many disagreements or arguments can be avoided or bettered through clear open and honest communication.

Career Objective
My goals are to buy a few properties in South Africa and build a portfolio where my money can work for me and give me something to manage once I return home. I also have money invested in crypto, equities and commodities. I would essentially like to start a business of my own some day, whether that be a yoga studio, a shop or a coffee shop, that I'm not sure of as yet.

My hobbies include sports, gym, hiking, running, horse riding, scuba diving, yoga and reading. I am an extroverted introvert meaning I enjoy a good party or get together with friends, but I also need some quiet time to regain my strengths and energy in order to show up as my best self. I put a lot of work into trauma healing, therapy and just educating myself with behavioural patterns, spirituality and self development.

Chief Stew
Coming out of a shipyard period I joined the boat in March and helped get it ready for the WPIBS. We hosted lunches for recruiters and guests of the industry onboard during the boatshow. After that we continued our shipyard period and headed up to New England for the summer. We maintained a well kept boat and hosted boss dinners. The season was more on the slower side than what I'm used to and will be heading into an extensive shipyard period from October onwards, gence my reason for looking into a new opportunity and boat for the winter season.
Chief Stew
As Chief Stew I was in charge of the entire interior. I managed two girls and kept an immaculate interior. The demand was high on this boat when it came to housekeeping, laundry as well as service. We conducted silver and mostly Russian service on this vessels and even had former presidents join us for lunch. The itinerary was Bahamas, New England and New York based and it was full season with boss trips from April to October. We went into a 4 month shipyard period in October 2024 so I have extensive experience in covering, stowing and closing off of the boat after season.
Chief Stew
I was Chief Stew on this boat that had an extensive shipyard period and we had very little time to deep clean this boat and set it up for the season. My 2nd Stew was completely green I so put a lot of effort into training her into a well rounded stewardess. We spent majority of our season in St. Martin on the French side where we conducted a lot of day and week long charters in and around Antigua, St. Barth's, St. Martin, Anguilla etc. I loved getting new groups of charters as well as having the boss on board. He had a calm and friendly demeanor and he was very happy with our work. I always have very high standards for my interior and how we manage our time. I feel honored that my boss recommended me to one of his friends afterwards who had recently purchased a yacht, but due to size and new opportunities I did not take it. I learned a lot from this experience and grew a lot as a person during this season as well. What I take from it is that I can get any job done, however stressful, time constrained and manage to keep my health and energy levels up.
