Experience
Mate
CurrentMate on a new-built Swan, first of its hull. Assisted planning and with the last bit of work at the shipyard. Yacht privately used, and has a busy cruising schedule. Learning about hybrid electric propulsion and system management on board, maintaining and sailing a very technical, cutting-edge yacht.
Captain
Captaining Oyster 575 for the Caribbean charter season. I was in charge of maintenance, passage planning, maneuvering the yacht and providing charter guests enjoyable experiences. Worked alongside my partner of 3 years.
Delivery Crew
Served as crew on a delivery from New York to Antigua, via Bermuda. Tasks included watch keeping, sail adjustment, maintenance, and cleaning. Prior to the delivery assisted with putting on new sails and sea trials. Upon arrival assisted with getting the boat ready for charter. On the second delivery I served as a delivery crew from Montreal, through Halifax to Savannah and helped to prepare the boat for refit yard period.
