Chief Engineer
CurrentPlanned and organised the Intermediate Survey and winter yard period in close coordination with Class and the Shipyard. There was no management company for this vessel so everything was done in-house through the Chief Engineer. This role required constant face time with the Owner and working closely with the Captain to ensure the vessel and its systems were kept to the highest standard.
2nd Engineer
Organised the initial set up for the new build yacht with the Chief Engineer. Oversaw the initial spares order for all machinery onboard. Partook in harbour acceptance tests with the Owner's representatives and Lloyd's surveyor for the systems onboard as they were commissioned. In charge of the overall running of the engine room and associated machinery spaces and responsible for the training and work assigned to the 3rd and 4th Engineers.
2nd Engineer
Worked 2nd Engineer in a team of 3 people on 68 m new build motor yacht. Acted as single hand watch keeper in charge of the entire maintenance of the engine room and assisted the Chief Engineer with purchasing and organising contractors for various yard works during the warranty period.
