Responsibilities involved being a reliable and trustworthy person working alongside the captain, especially during navigational watch and safety checks, engage in route planning, overseeing all deck operations inc. chase-boat, as well as docking and manoeuvring the mothership. In addition, delegate tasks and monitor the deckhand. Lastly, dealing with suppliers and maintenance agents.
Chase Boat Captain / Bosun
CurrentResponsibilities involved maintenance of the chase boat and its cleanliness, ensuring that the boat is ready for the guest whenever necessary. Furthermore, I ensured the safety of the guests, at times planning desired routes. As a bosun onboard the mothership, I managed three deckhands, delegated tasks and monitored their progress throughout. When required I assisted with the bridge duties and navigation.
