3rd Stewardess
Joined the vessel as a junior stewardess, with the vessels heavy guest use I became confident in all rotating departments (housekeeping, laundry, service). Responsibilities included: Assisting with inventory updates and provision lists - crew supplies, guest supplies, uniforms and laundry. Preparing the vessel for guest trips, shipyard and assisting with securing and stowing interior for passages. General upkeep and maintaining a high level of cleanliness of interior as well as back of house. Consistent attention to detail, weekly dust vacs and wash downs, polishing and treating fixtures, leather, wood, marble etc. Laundry of all crew and guests on board (stain treating, ironing, detailing machines etc.). Assisting with table decor and setting for guests every night. With rotating roles each stewardess had the opportunity to assist with dinner service.
