Engineer/chef/deckhand/OOW
CurrentI provide a myriad of skill sets that the boat and the Captain are in need of. It started out as a friend helping a former class mate. And grew into a full rebuild of a vintage boat. I have a vast experience in mechanical repair and maintenance as well as a 15 year history in the food and beverage industry and customer service. I have been an instructor for Sailing lessons as well as a deckhand. The captain had a need for an individual with sailing knowledge for a charter position. And I was tired of just sitting around the house and playing golf. So......I volunteered the first month just to help her out. And that led to a full on 1st mate / sole engineer / Head chef / and all around master of all trades position in refining the boat. And now, She has a new engine installed, new seals, new galley, new sails, new rigging, new water lines and water heater, new propane box and propane lines. She is scheduled to have a complete electrical make over and upgrade her nav and gauges to 2025 standards.
