I have worked in the maritime industry as a deckhand and am eager to showcase my skills in boat procedures and maintenance to ensure a quality guest experience. I hold a Yacht Master Offshore (CE) and have recently completed my EDH with the aim of achieving my OOW <300GT Ticket within the next five years.

Lead Deckhand
CurrentHaving recently undertaken a 3 month shipyard period I have gained a wide range of experience with general deck maintenance such as: painting, polishing, sika work, product knowledge and more, as well as the day to day running of the deck department and the procedures surrounding anchoring, mooring, tender ops (jet and outboard) and watchkeeping. . As Safety representative I conducted safety training, LSA & FFE checks, SOPS, risk assessments and familiarisations. As lead deckhand I was responsible for weekly work lists, guiding 2 junior deckhands as well as maintaining the yacht's inventory.
Superyacht Cadet
Here I threw myself into learning all different aspects of the maritime industry from doing my Yacht Master Offshore to completing my AEC1. During my Yacht Master, I handled yachts in various weather conditions, confident with yacht manoeuvres and skippering a crew.

Gained understanding of working in a crew and achieved full marks on assessment, invited back as Watch Leader.
