About
Having grown up on a wine farm and with a mother who ran guest houses, hospitality is second nature to me. My formal training in accounting has developed a meticulous attention to detail while my outgoing nature has meant always involving myself in social, organisational, and events-planning committees. In addition to gaining experience in Hospitality, I have completed the Green to Gold Stewardess Training acquiring foundational skills across interior departments as well as an understanding of hierarchy and etiquette on board. Honest and dependable, I make an excellent teammate, taking utmost responsibility for my role while my generosity means going the extra mile comes naturally. I look forward to the growth that awaits me on the other side of every challenge I face.

Tasting Room Assistant
Part-time Hospitality experience over the weekends, while completing my CIMA training. Responsibilities included engaging with customers directly, wine sales, operating the point of sale system, pouring wine tastings, assembling and presenting ice cream and wine pairings, making customised cheese platters, clearing tables, washing & polishing of wine glasses.
Management Accounting Trainee (CIMA)
A cash-flow management solutions company where aside from providing financial & book-keeping services as well as team support, I was very active within various committees (social, marketing etc.). Responsibilities included record keeping, recons, budgets & forecasting; liaising with clients daily, managing client expectations and deadlines, assisting team wherever needed; arranging year-end functions, career fairs, social events for staff.
Job Shadowing
I did a 4 day circulation across departments of these two separate 5-star luxury hotels situated in Camps Bay, Cape Town. I spent time in FOH, housekeeping, restaurant & bar, as well as the accounting, payroll, sales, human resources and procurement department.
