Experience
Second Engineer
Responsible for watchkeeping, mechanical and electrical maintenance and safety. Participated in a large AV/IT refit project. Experienced with MTU 4000 and CAT C18 engines. Improved IDEA Planned Maintenance System, modified existing and created new SOPs, Engineering Logs and Rounds to elevate the engineering department's standards. Successfully completed a six months long refit project at MB92 Barcelona.
Second Engineer
Maintaining top industry standards during a busy charter season. Managed watchkeeping and machinery maintenance including tenders and jet skis. Experience with Caterpillar 3516 and C18 engines. Completed a pre-season shipyard period in MB92 Barcelona, a flag state inspection and a pre-sale survey including sea trials. Skilled in supervising contractors on board and organizing daily tasks. Boat was sold in September 2023.
Second/Build Engineer
Joined Owner's Team in the early stage of build (Lurssen Project 13800). Collaborated effectively with Chief Engineer and Owner's Representative. Conducted numerous inspections, managed commissioning phase and sea trials. Completed warranty period prior to the onset of the summer season. Experienced in supervising and managing larger number of contractors. Maintained high safety standards on board. Boat was sold in August 2022.
