Experience

Head of Service

Oct 2024 - Dec 2024
MY ALFA NERO

On board, I've developed a diverse skill set in leadership, operations, and guest service in high-pressure environments. I played a key role in transforming the yacht from shipyard condition to a market-ready vessel, overseeing marketing preparations, coordinating broker tours, and leading VIP events during the Antigua Yacht Show. I've led and trained a team of six during a two-week boss trip and high-profile charters hosting up to 60+ guests on occassion. In the absence of a purser and chief stewardess, I've taken on administrative tasks, including managing orders, inventories, schedules, and checklists. My ability to manage daily operations and lead a team, combined with strong organizational skills, interpersonal affinities, and attention to detail, makes me well-suited for a senior interior service role.

Senior Stewardess

Dec 2023 - Sep 2024
MY PHOENIX 2

I joined MY Phoenix 2 during an extensive refit with a small crew, where I created work lists, trained crew, managed inventories, and placed orders. As the 6 weekt charter season began, my role expanded to preparing the vessel for last-minute trips, buyer viewings, and broker visits, while assisting with a smooth ownership transition. Assisting both with service and housekeeping, I maintained crew and guest areas, planned theme nights, managed wardrobes, and served meals and drinks. I'm skilled in handling delicate materials like gold leaf, linen, and fine china, and have experience with various service styles, from silver service to canapés. I also worked closely with chefs on menus and guided my team during service on board. Additionally, I organized crew activities, utilized my photography and social media skills, and collaborated with department heads to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

MY ME&EM

Joining MY M& EM right after its maiden voyage from Vlissingen NL to Antigua was a thrilling experience. Setting up and managing the service and housekeeping departments on this new build was both challenging and rewarding. The vessel's itinerary, covering the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and parts of the UK, offered a diverse range of experiences. During my time on board, I deepened my expertise in housekeeping, laundry, and service. I took a keen interest in floristry as well, and was assigned a lot of responsibility in tending to the bouquets around the boat and on the tables. I also participated in two busy yard periods and an Atlantic crossing. The program provided ample opportunities for outdoor activities, including recon hikes and dives for guests and two dogs.
