Rotational 2nd Stewardess
CurrentI joined this private vessel in October 2023 as the rotational 2nd Stewardess. My responsibilities included overseeing provisioning for both guests and crew, leading and organizing all housekeeping and service operations, as the Chief Stewardess primarily handles purser duties. I managed inventories to ensure accuracy and consistency, while maintaining the highest standards of the interior. My team consisted of two junior stewardesses and one laundryman, and my personal objective was to lead and mentor the team, fostering a positive and professional work environment that delivers exceptional results.
Seasonal Solo Stewardess/Cook
S/Y Alma del Sur is a high-demand private catamaran where I served as the seasonal solo stewardess. The owner, having been a previous guest on a charter yacht where I had worked, personally offered me this role due to his satisfaction with the service I provided during his previous experience.
Permanent Chief Stewardess
On M/Y Aura I experienced an exceptionally busy charter season characterized by short turnarounds. My primary responsibilities centered around guest relations, where I provided high-end service, managed provisioning, coordinated with agents, oversaw the interior accounts, and led the 2nd stewardess. Given my expertise in service, I implemented various table decorations daily, executed formal silver service, and curated wine pairings and cocktails. I had the privilege of collaborating with a Michelin two-star trained chef, which allowed me to present exquisite dishes to our guests. Following the conclusion of the charter season, I transitioned to winter duties, including maintaining inventories, performing deep cleaning, organizing marble and wood care, and preparing the yacht for the upcoming season.
