About
After leaving homeland Croatia to work on the cruise ship as a wine steward, love take me to the Liverpool, UK! Where I completed (4 years) Electrical college (NVQ 3), which allowed me to work as electrician on few commercial projects in the UK before I land the job in the shipyard in Portsmouth UK for the BAE Systems. Some 4 years of building the navy ships, I left in order to work on the superyacht extension project, in the Durban RSA, which lead to permanent position as an engineer. On the way working hard, trying to get SV 2nd engineer ticket, where I failed the oral, and felt a bit tired of the schooling. Now I see that school is the only way and planning to gain EOOW to be able to get/chose a decant medium sized boat for long term stay, as 2nd or even Chief Engineer. Worked as a 3rd engineer, sometimes reliving 2nd, on the 67- and 90-meters explorer type private motor yacht, worldwide, for the same company, same owner for 10 years, and now feel is time for change. Engineering minded, hands on and easily coached, I believe there is no problem we can’t resolve in safe and cost-effective manners.
