About
I grew up in Illinois very active with a love for the water. I swam competitively for six years and rowed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at the University of Wisconsin, I majored in Political Science and Arabic hoping to work for the State Department upon graduation. Thankfully, after an internship in Washington D.C. my love for traveling brought me down to Florida to join the yachting industry. I began my yachting career in 2021 and have worked on vessels ranging from 37m-60m. I am a hardworking individual who is always willing to lend a helping hand. I am an extremely gregarious person who loves interacting with guests and giving them the best possible experience while they are onboard. As a leader, I'm not afraid to put in the time and effort to ensure my team is running at a top level.

I am hopeful for a position on a charter yacht where I can use my yachting and hospitality background to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Having newly qualified for my OOW, I look forward to a position where I can get more hands-on bridge experience while expanding on my leadership skills.

Second Officer
-In charge of a team of 4 deck crew and trained junior and green deckhands. -Acted as Security and Garbage Officer while on board. -Responsible for deck orders and inventories. -Assisted with running monthly crew drills and familiarizations. -Created passage plans and boat specific monthlies/weeklies.
OOW/2nd Officer
Acted as a watch-keeper for a crossing from Boston to Iceland. Completed two boss trips around Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Responsible for GMDSS, FFE, and LSA checks onboard. Assisted Chief Officer with passage planning and miscellaneous deck tasks.
First Mate
-Completed 22 charters in 14 months while onboard with a busy watersports program. Joined as Bosun and promoted after three months. Mini-ISM compliant and IYC Blue proficient. Oversaw flag, class, and re-flag surveys. Responsible for hiring Bosun, dayworkers, and temporary deck crew. Completed clearance forms, specifically ENOAD and Bahamas Click2Clear. In charge of monthly drills and crew familiarizations. Responsible for guest tender excursions onboard 34' Intrepid. Created guest charter videos at the completion of each trip. Managed vessel's Instagram profile.
