Deck Cadet
Experience aboard LNG/C Adriano Knutsen, supporting deck and bridge officers during transatlantic voyages between the U.S. and Europe. Assisted in bridge procedures, gas cargo system familiarization, mooring and anchoring ops, deck maintenance, and safety equipment inspections. Ensured compliance with company and international safety standards, strengthening my technical skills, discipline, and teamwork. This role provided a solid foundation for my future Bridge Officer position in the superyacht industry.
Deck Cadet
Hands-on experience aboard LNG/C Cadiz Knutsen, supporting bridge and deck teams in navigation, cargo-handling preparation, mooring operations, and routine watches. Participated in safety and maintenance inspections of firefighting and life-saving equipment, ensuring compliance with international standards. This role strengthened my skills in safety management, operational discipline, and bridge resource coordination, while reinforcing adaptability and teamwork within a multicultural crew. It further motivated my pursuit of a Bridge Officer career in the superyacht industry.
Deck Cadet
Extensive hands-on experience as a Deck Cadet, supporting bridge and deck teams in safe and efficient navigation. Assisted in passage planning, navigational watches, and the supervised use of RADAR and ECDIS. Participated in mooring, anchoring, cargo operations, and the inspection and maintenance of FFA and LSA equipment. This role strengthened my seamanship, communication, and safety awareness, providing a solid foundation in vessel operations and preparing me to progress toward a Bridge Officer role in the superyacht industry.
