They say 'home is where the heart is,' but honestly, I’m just sad on land and extremely happy at sea. My name is Renato (or Ron), I am 37 years old, and I am a 'gentle deckhand' with a lifelong passion for sailing. It is a pleasure to meet you! :) My journey started at age six on Lake Garda with the legendary Optimist, moving up to Hobie Cats, X14s, and Lasers. By the age of 16, I began competing internationally in Italy. Within a 10-person team, I covered every role—from 'movable ballast' to Helm—and finally served as a Front Sails Trimmer for the last four years of my racing career. I capped off that chapter with an incredible experience in the America's Cup Team with Land Rover BAR / AC45 (now INEOS Britannia). It would be a great pleasure to join your crew as a deckhand to prove my abilities and continue growing every day. My ultimate dream is to complete an Atlantic Crossing and, eventually, a solo circumnavigation of the globe, inspired by sailors like Jessica Watson.

Career Objective
My Objects are easy and straight. Complete step by step all certifications until YACHT MASTER 200 for the moment, and find a nice captain to share as much as i can and build miles as much as possible. When my body tell me to stop i'll buy a sailing boat and travel around the world.
