Chief Stewardess
Working for 2 years as Chief Stewardess on MY Marina Wonder was a growth and leading time in my yachting career. As a team of two I was able to improve decision-making, delegating tasks, provisioning for charter trips and ensure that both Guests and Crew were looked after. Helping the deck department with mooring, line handling, polishing and washing the boat. This was a private and charter boat with different guests staying on board which is always a fun challenge to adapt preferences, times, theme nights and dinner parties. In the winter my role entailed bringing the boat up to its pristine condition by dealing with contractors, inventories, ordering and also did the cooking/provisioning for the crew over this period.
Stewardess
Whilst in shipyard period, my role was mostly to get the boat up to standard for the summer season. This involved detailing of the interior from guest to crew area, laundry duties, and assisting with provisioning, storage and organization it all for a long trip in Greenland.
Sole Stewardess
Being the sole stewardess of this busy charter vessel (24h turn around) was an enjoyable and challenging time. I was responsible for all of the interior, detailing, provisions, around the clock service, laundry and crew area. This role included having to help with line handling, ground lines, and when needed driving the tender from a bay to another.
