Full Time - Busy Charter Yacht – 3 seasons & 1 Refit, Cruising Mediterranean & Caribbean 2 years’ experience in ship handling. - Very challenging Program with high profile guests. I joined at the sale, recruiting a new crew with strong retention and restoring the vessel from poor condition to full commercial standards. Implemented new ISM and ISPS systems, developed operational procedures, and oversaw the design and build of two new tenders. Worked closely with the owner’s family office to prepare budgets and proposals for both operational and capital expenses. Use of Yachting & APA Voly accounting software. Managed social media for charter promotion, growing the following to 58k before departure. Additionally, I managed yard periods, itinerary planning, and coordinated guest excursions and activities. I handed over with 4 different captains over the 2-year period, assisting them in understanding the yacht’s systems, operational procedures, and crew dynamics to ensure seamless transitions. Shared ship handling responsibilities in a variety of challenging weather conditions, maintaining safety and operational efficiency. Maintained open communication with crew and management to bridge operational gaps, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted performance.

Full Time - Busy Private & Charter Yacht - 10 seasons – Cruising Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas 3 years’ experience in ship handling – 9 Atlantic Crossings Requested by owners to be on board for all guest trips. I served as Captain for four months and as Project Manager for the Bridge & Deck department for nine months, overseeing a refit and full paint job. My responsibilities included regulatory compliance (ISM, ISPS, MLC, Class, Flag), financial operations, crew management, and liaising with owners. I utilised IYC and Edmiston ISM, Accounting and PMS systems, handled budgeting and logistics, and ensured high-quality owner and guest relations. Additionally, I shared with the captain ship handling in diverse conditions

Full Time - I joined the vessel at it’s sale during the final stages of a refit, assisting in restoring it from poor condition due to a skeleton crew. This included restocking all stores and guest equipment. I implemented new ISM and ISPS management systems and collaborated with the Chief Officer to develop updated operational procedures. As Navigation Officer, I planned all passages and managed the logistics and relocation of a large chase tender.
