I am a motivated junior deckhand candidate actively seeking my first position in the yachting industry. I am fully certified with STCW Basic Safety, ENG1, and IYT Powerboat Level 2, and available immediately from January. While I am new to working on yachts, I bring extensive experience in physically demanding, high-standard environments through years in watersports instruction, hospitality, and resort operations worldwide. I am comfortable with long hours, strict hierarchy, attention to detail, and following procedures, and I am committed to learning quickly and doing things the correct way onboard. I understand that my first role is to be a reliable, hardworking deckhand — cleaning, maintenance, watchkeeping, and supporting the deck team wherever needed. I take pride in doing repetitive tasks well and maintaining high safety and presentation standards. Alongside this, I offer a strong watersports background (kitesurfing, wingfoiling, surfing) with internationally recognised instructor certifications, which I see as an added asset once I have proven myself as a solid deckhand. I am equally happy supporting guest activities or remaining focused on deck duties as required. I also hold a professional cooking diploma and have worked in hospitality roles, giving me a strong service mindset and the ability to work calmly under pressure. I am fluent in English, French, and Thai, and work well within multicultural teams. I am reliable, easy-going, respectful of authority, and highly adaptable. My goal is to build a long-term career in yachting by starting at the bottom, learning properly, and contributing positively to a professional crew environment.
