I am a driven and ambitious shipping professional with extensive worldwide sailing experience at the management level for large international shipping companies. I have spent the last twelve years working ashore as a Safety Manager and DPA/CSO for a medium-sized Finland-based shipping company, and I am now looking for new challenges.

Safety Manager, DPA/CSO
CurrentResponsible for Company ISM/ISPS/DOC audits, PSC inspections and statutory surveys. Development of Company Safety Management System and Emergency Contingency plans. Responsible for all nautical operational matters such as stability, navigation, acceptance of IMDG cargo, cargo handling and securing, heavy weather service restrictions and routeing. Company training instructor for STCW A-V/2.5 and simulator training BRM/ERM. Designated expert in stability and IMDG matters for Swedish shipowners' association. Serving as Master on Company's roro-cargo and roro-passenger vessels as necessary.
Master
Master on ACL:s G3 Panmax Con-Ro vessels on transatlantic service EU-USEC. Swedish flag and vessels were under technical and crewing management by Bibby Shipmanagement, Liverpool UK. High-Heavy roro and project cargoes, full IMDG DoC.

From 2003 serving as Master on large PCTC:s in world-wide service for WWL. Swedish flag and vessels were under full management by Wallenius Marine, Stockholm. Main trade routes EU-USEC/USWC, Japan/Korea-EU and EU-South Africa-AUS/NZ/Oceania. In 2003 served as Cargo Superintendent at WWL office in Bremerhaven, Germany for 6 months. From 1989 until 2003 served in various deck officer positions on PCTC:s and car-carriers.
