Experience
Deckhand / Diver
Seasonal position. After two months in shipyard, started a summer season of 15 back-to-back charters, cruising the south Croatian coastline. The yacht is a custom build and can accommodate up to 26 guests in 13 cabins. Very busy schedule, lots of watersports: e-foil, jet skis, wakeboard, Seabobs. The chase boat was an Axopar 37, that I regularly drove, with and without guests on board. Performed several technical dives: on the anchor and bow thrusters, that included underwater work, as well as recovery of belongings that fell overboard, day and night.
Deckhand
Temporary deckhand position to cover sick leave. After joining the vessel in Nassau, we crossed the Atlantic towards Marseille via Horta, underwent a short yard period then proceeded onto a week-long charter in Sardinia then owner's usage in south of France. Responsibilities included cleaning and detailing, tender driving, crane operation, bridge and engine room watch.
Mate
Hired by a professional delivery company as mate to assist the owner sailing his vessel from southern Brittany towards Hamble, UK. Responsibilities included passage planning and skippering the vessel on several specific legs of the journey where local knowledge was very important: Western Brittany, English Channel crossing.
