Over 3.5 years working on yachts and I have my Yachtmaster 200 ton (commercially endorsed) and Padi Divemaster tickets and am a fishing enthusiast. Previously, I was with the same Owner for almost 2 years and for over 1 year on their 72m Motor Yacht, where I was promoted to Lead Deckhand. Two Atlantic crossings, some Mediterranean season and then NE coast USA. Multiple Bahamas trips from Florida. Charter, tender and jet drive experience. Scuba diving for over 14 years. I am ready for a new challenge. I am looking for a long-term position onboard a yacht with a great program and crew, where I can further develop my skills as I do my OOW modules. Ex-hospitality professional who changed to working on yachts during covid. I am easy going and a team player with excellent references.

First Mate
A month on board with two owner trips around Italy and Sardinia and then to Cannes, France. Passage planning and chart work. Alternated navigation with the captain. Guest tender operations. Anchor and buoy operations. Launching and retrieving of Williams jet drive tender and toys.
Lead Deckhand
Same Owner as previous boat. Promoted to Lead Deckhand September 2024. Assisting in all deck operations. All anchor operations. Docking and mooring with calling distances from the bow. Sanded maindeck teak. Paint repairs, awefair, sanding and primer. Small paint repairs on tenders. Removing rust, cleaning and painting of water holding tanks. Two-part teak scrubbing and oxalic acid scrubs. Washdowns. Experience working aloft and over-side. Caulking of swim-platform. Caulking of crew showers. Crossed Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean and crossed back to Newport, USA to finish the season in the NE of USA. Launching and riding of jetskis, Dariel limo tenders and a 42ft Nortec tender with 4x 450R’s. On the Fire team and rescue tender for MOB. Given responsibility for maintaining the yachts diving gear and refilling of the BA sets and dive tanks. Assisting the Second Officer with weekly’s and monthly’s. Sanding and painting anchor chains. Preping and painting lockers.
Deckhand
Day boat to Casino Royale. Solo deckhand. Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all deck responsibilities. Delivered new boat from Baltimore to West Palm Beach, USA and assisted the Captain with watches and steering. Engine room, bilge checks, monitoring and filling of main water tank. Anchor operations. Docking and mooring with calling distances. Washdowns and two-part teak. Detailing of all stainless and anchor pockets and polishing where necessary. Jet drive Williams tender. Boss trip from WPB to Bahamas and to Rose Island. Moving yacht into West Palm Yacht Show. Left as went back home to renew passport.
