I'm a 27-year-old with roots in French Polynesia and a upbringing in New Zealand, shaped by two cultures that taught me the value of community, resilience, and meaningful connection. I grew up immersed in the rhythms of the ocean, working on my family's Kamoka Pearl Farm in Tahiti. That experience not only gave me a deep respect for marine life and sustainable practices, but also instilled practical, hands-on skills in boating, problem-solving, and teamwork. Living with dyslexia has influenced the way I learn and work—I’ve developed a creative, solutions-oriented mindset and pride myself on staying calm under pressure. Spelling may trip me up sometimes, but when it comes to getting things done efficiently and thoughtfully, I don’t miss a beat. I’m now working toward becoming a captain.
